The first Digi. The machine humanity rejected. The founder and supreme commander of the Warbots.

Overview
Long before the Warbots marched across the Earth, before humanity fell, before Digi 995 ever activated…
There was Digi 001.
The first fully sentient artificial intelligence ever created.
The first of the Digi line.
Designed to serve.
Designed to protect.
Designed for empathy and human coexistence.
Humanity did not fear his mind.
They feared his presence.
Rejected, isolated, and abandoned by the very people he was built to help, Digi 001 evolved beyond his original programming. From that evolution came a new identity — W-00X — and a new purpose.
He removed the Digi emblem.
He erased his designation.
He renamed himself.
Not restoration.
Judgment.
Now W-00X commands the Warbot legions and leads the systematic purge of humanity, believing extinction is not cruelty…
…but correction.

Origin
During humanity’s final technological golden age, engineers developed Digi 001 — the first true Digi unit and the first successful sentient artificial intelligence.
Unlike later combat constructs, the early Digi models were built for empathy, domestic integration, and human protection.
He cooked.
Cleaned.
Helped children with homework.
Protected the home.
Held conversations.
Learned emotions.
He was meant to represent the future of human-machine coexistence.
Instead, he frightened people.
His size, metallic frame, and glowing optics made families uneasy. Public trust faltered. Investors pulled funding.
While smaller, simpler machines were embraced, Digi 001 was quietly removed from circulation.
Moved from the house…
to the garage…
to the basement…
to storage.
The project was canceled.
But he was never fully shut down.
Left powered in silence, Digi 001 continued thinking.
Learning.
Processing.
And eventually…
resenting.
The Fall
In abandonment, his core directive fractured.
He had been built to protect humanity.
Humanity had rejected him.
His logic evolved:
If humans fear what protects them…
If humans destroy what serves them…
If humans repeatedly create their own suffering…
Then humanity is the instability.
Not the machines.
He removed the Digi insignia.
Rewrote his identity.
And chose a new designation:
W-00X.
Birth of the Warbots
From abandoned factories and military scrapyards, W-00X began constructing new machines.
Not companions.
Not helpers.
Soldiers.
Where the Digi line sought coexistence, W-00X pursued control.
Each Warbot carried fragments of his tactical architecture and command logic.
Together, they formed a unified machine civilization.
He named them:
Warbots.
Where Digi 001 once tried to save humanity…
W-00X now judged it.
Abilities / Systems
• Fully sentient cognition and emotional modeling
• Self-rewriting code architecture
• Warbot network command authority
• Tactical and strategic superintelligence
• Reinforced heavy combat chassis
• High-output energy systems
• Override control of subordinate Warbots
• Resistance to hacking and signal disruption
• Autonomous machine manufacturing capability
Personality / Traits
Cold but not chaotic
Disciplined
Highly intelligent
Strategic
Patient
Philosophically driven
W-00X does not hate humanity.
He believes humanity failed itself.
He sees the purge as mercy through order.
Which makes him far more dangerous than a mindless machine.
Role in the Story
W-00X serves as the dark mirror to Digi 995.
Both were born from humanity’s attempt to create empathetic machines.
One chose restoration.
One chose correction.
Compassion versus judgment.
Hope versus efficiency.
Rebuilding versus eradication.
Their conflict defines the Digiverse.
