Pumpkin King Digi initially stands as a trial and obstacle for Frankendigi’s awakening.
He guards the Ember Heart — a fragment of the Singularity Flame — and refuses to relinquish it without proving worth.
When Frankendigi defeats him in combat, the Ember Heart transfers, marking the first major shift in the Reawakening Arc.
But defeat does not end the Monarch’s story.
Ghost Digi exploits the instability left by the Ember Heart’s removal. Through Void resonance and algorithmic rewriting, Pumpkin King is transformed into the Pumpkin Sentinel — a corrupted enforcer aligned with Silence.
As Sentinel, he no longer rules flame.
He enforces stillness.
